Cherry Bark Tea Canister (Scattered Petals)

Kabazaiku: wild cherry bark polished until it reads as lacquer, worked by the same Kakunodate family since 1851. Silver Medal at the 1915 San Francisco World's Fair. The bark regulates humidity, which is why tea people swear by these.

Care: Wipe with a dry cloth. No water baths. The shine deepens with handling.
